Travelling to Nanaimo
The city of Nanaimo is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Those coming from a distance will take a flight to Victoria and drive north for about two hours to Nanaimo, take a flight to Comox and drive south for about an hour, or travel to Vancouver and take a ferry to Nanaimo.
Greyhound provides regular scheduled coach services between Nanaimo and Victoria, Vancouver and other cities.
West Coast Air offers regular scheduled flights between Nanaimo harbour and Vancouver downtown or airport.

Locations of Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society Dances and Other Events
Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society dances on the first Friday of each month are held at Bowen Park Auditorium, Bowen Road, Nanaimo.
Our dances on the third Saturday of each month are held at Nanoose Place Community Centre, NW Bay Rd, Nanoose, off the Island Highway (Route 19) about 20 minutes North of Nanaimo.
Our Island Fantasy Ball Competition is held annually in early May at Beban Park Auditorium, Bowen Road, Nanaimo.
Our Summer Dance Camp and Summer Sunday dances are held at Newcastle Island Provincial Park Pavilion, a 10 minute ferry trip from Maffeo Sutton Park in downtown Nanaimo.
